The Colonies at Williamsburg is a resort spread across 28 low-rise buildings, which vary between two and three floors. Amenities include a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool with interactive water features, an outdoor hot tub, tennis courts, barbecue grills, a children's playground, picnic tables, and a fitness center with treadmills and weight training machines. The property offers an activities room accessible from the front lobby, a computer lounge, printer, and restrooms. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The resort has been awarded a Gold Crown Status with RCI for many years. Guests can take accessible routes from the public entrance to guest rooms, to the barbeque area with gas grills on the pool deck and smoking area, the fitness center, the pool deck with access to pool lift, spa and restrooms, zero degree pools, public restrooms accessible from the front lobby and indoor & outdoor pools, and registration desk.
